Teaching English in Hanoi

Hi all
I was just wondering if you could give me a small bit of advice.
I am a New Zealander thinking of moving to Hanoi next year and trying my hand at teaching English, I have heard many mix reviews on what is required and what isn't.
I do not have certificates on teaching but a good friend who teaches in Taipei without any qualifications said that it is pretty easy to arrive and find work no problems, with posters everywhere and by word of mouth.
Money is not the main motivation more the Vietnam culture and lifestyle.
I was just wondering what the opinion was on this??
I look forward to hearing opinions.

Dear Sir,

I'm from Hanoi, Vietnam. I think it is not difficult to have a job as an English teacher in here. Vietnam is on the move. Every people want their children to be excellent at English. They send their children to international schools. So that there are many international school opening. You would have a lot of chances getting a job. Let try to contact with some schools before you arrive in Vietnam.
