Good morning

Has anyone any information on the procédure. I know about all the documents but the amount needed to declare. 400k ? Also I was told another way is to provide a document to prove your monthly income of 40000 THB. If you did not have 400k.

Thanks

I think the 40,000bht a month letter from.your Thai bank must show you have deposited 40,000bht a month & I believe it must come from overseas.

MY wife & I had so much trouble with marriage documents & Bank letters needed by Thai Immigration that we gave up & got Immigration 2 put money of 800,000bht in2 our bank account & pay Immigration 14,500bht fee & we get our 1 year "O" Visa every year..

I agree with Arild, forget the official way, you will get high blood pressure and a distinct mistrust of officialdom if you go that way. Have a talk with key visa ms Areerat in Pattaya. She will help you.

Yes I should have said you can also use Visa services 2 get your 1 yr visa but Jomtien immigration also do it which is strange but it brings them in extra money or even Visa shop right next door & I've been doing it for the last 15yrs

Never done that

A Married Extension (NOT A VISA) is not hard at all.

But i do understand some people might find it hard if they think they applying for a Visa at Immigration.

That tell me, That they have not even read the top of the formular that they using.

That clear says what the Application is for.

@North24

You can show proof of your income via a income letter from your Embassy, IF your Embassy make them.

You can all so transfer +40.000 Baht into a Thai Bank every month, I hear they ask for 12 month.

And show proof of that via Bank letter and print out, All done by your Bank.

Kindly

I agree, both marriage and retirement are clear and simple, just follow the rules and do NOT think you know

thing better because you will be at the bottom of the list, near the end of the row, for getting help

@North24 first what country are you from and the source of your income

oddiehoward

I’m American and have my social security. your prof of income needs to be verified by the American embassy which they don’t do anymore, but if you open a bank account at bangkok bank  ss can be direct deposited and the flowing years bank statement will be accepted as proof of income for-the next year. also depending  on where you live in thailand there are agencies.. call me *** (i hate texting)
