Reapplying Family Reunion Visa

Post new topic

pradap27

Hello,

I am Staying in Belgium with A-Card. Initially when I was issued with Work permit, I had my wife applied with me for a long stay Visa and we both got our Visa's together.

But she got pregnant and was not able to travel with me and planned to travel after delivery. After my baby's delivery we applied Visa for my baby but it was sent to immigration office for verification and during this time my Wife's visa got expired.

Now, after the verification I have received my daughter's Visa and planning to apply for my wife again for a long stay Visa. My question is since my daughter's Visa went through verification and approved with Visa, whether my Wife's application will also be sent again to immigration office for verification or will the embassy will take and refer my daughter's approved Visa use it as reference and approve my Wife's Visa quicker.

Can someone provide thoughts on this.

Thanks.

Aneesh

Give it a try and write a very convincing cover letter.

@Aneesh Thanks, I will make sure to explain my situation in the Cover letter.

Hi Pradap, Have your wife applied and have they added her to your daughter's file?

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo We have already received my daughter's Visa. Now we have applied for my wife. But again they have forwarded to immigration office. This is really bad, now again we have to wait for another 4 months.

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo Hi, what about your application status. is your new born child's Visa has been tagged with the existing application ?

@pradap27

The embassy said they have tagged our baby's application to the existig family file. For the same reason they withhold the issuance of the approved visa for the other members of the family. Yet, the baby's application is forwarded to Belgium. I hope it won't take them as long as the first to decide.

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo Oh Okay, Hope everything approves fast. Thanks for the update.

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo Hi I have a question, Could you tell, how many days are you waiting from the date of your baby's application reflected in the IBZ website.

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo Hi, did you receive any update regarding your baby's Visa application.

pradap27

@Aneesh My Spouse application is sent to FPS office for verification and its reflecting in IBZ website from May-22.

Since we are reapplying again and already My daughter's Visa got approved after verification, is there any chance that my spouse application could be verified faster than the normal time.

Please provide your thoughts.

Aneesh

Try sending an email to IBZ to consider this.

pradap27

Any good news for those applied March?

@pradap27

Hi Pradap27, we are still waiting. Apparently, having an existing file doesn't expedite the process.

pradap27

@Sa.al.mo Thanks for the reply. Let us hope for the best.
