Permanent permit

Post new topic

Hello,

I have work permit and residency A limited and now I have applied for a permanent permit after completing 3.5 years (married with kids) and there is a concern of losing my job. So, does the permit shifting will affect my resident period and what options do I have to continue my 5 years to get the permanent residency .

thanks,

Nebras

@Taimtaim11 Once you have unlimited work permit , you are no longer tied to your employer. You can simply look for another job before your residence expires.

You have 3 months official staying right in BE after your last day in work.

This period can be extended if your residence permit or unlimited work permit couldnt be issued by burocrotical-paper work reasons.

As you are already applied for an unlimited WP and your current WP still valid then you are fine.

If your Llimited ID card expires earlier than your Unlimited ID card. You should request an Annex49-50 etc from townhall.

Good luck!
