Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You'll need to learn to speak Dutch to a high standard in order to get your medical qualifications recognised in the Netherlands; the same is true in most of the EU, you will need to be able to speak the respective countries mother language; perhaps consider one of the world nations that have English as their mother tongue.

I hope this helps.

Hi again.

It's not quite how it works.  To prove your competence in Dutch, you need to have either gone to school in the Netherlands, or attended an accredited language college and gained a Dutch language diploma for written, spoken and reading in Dutch; they're not free.  So you need to go and check out the BIG website; this will take you straight to the section about recognising overseas diplomas.  This takes you straight to their contact section, it has all the details on how to contact them.

I know nothing about the system in New Zealand, however, a quick Google search has thrown up this ; my advice is to check it out.  Alternatively, create a thread in our New Zealand section (link).  Another idea would be to contact the New Zealand Citizens Advice Bureau, they have a website and this will take you straight to it.

One last point, be very wary about anyone asking you for money in regard to training or visas, they are more than likely scammers.

I hope this has helped.
