Where to buy good blankets, sheets and linens in Portugal

manuel6246

In Canada we have a large assortment of goods coming in from Portugal and available at such places as TJ Max (Winners, Homesense, etc.). We've seen really good quality duvets, bed sheets, blankets, etc. from Portugal. I contacted one of the firms in Portugal to buy some of their goods locally, but seems they manufacture for export. Other than going to Ikea or Continente, where does anyone buy good quality bedding in country. It's almost as if we have to buy here in Canada to take items back to Portugal. Thanks.

I have linen (linho) sheets from

They aren't like the made in Portugal linen sheets I had in the US - they're a coarser weave - but they're OK with me.

@JohnnyPT Thank you for the links. Always appreciated. I'm guessing most things need to be ordered online versus actual in-store shopping.

If you look at each link, some brands have their own shops, for example these two:

Own stores:

Partnership stores:

These items should also be sold in other stores, such as El Corte Inglés department stores.

Others have showrooms that can be visited.

@JohnnyPT thanks for noting those two stores with physical locations, I'll make a note of that.

You can have a look at El Corte Ingles in Lisbon (they also have an online store). They have a very good selection.

@TGCampo I recall visiting El Corte Ingles many years ago and  a bit shocked at the prices there. It's definitely a premium shopping experience.
