Rules for Obtaining Permanent Residence

Post new topic

bc2910

Hello everyone, I am living in Belgium for a bit more than 2 years with a single permit (card A). I have recently learned that in order to be eligible for permanent residence one shouldn't leave Belgium more than 10 months in the past 5 years. The issue is in the last 2 years I was outside of EU for about 170 days, but I don't remember my days spent in the other EU countries. Is there a platform where I can see my entries and exits from the country? and do you know whether Belgium tracks our flights to the other EU countries? I am asking because my employer wants me to send to other EU countries 4 days per week in the next six months due to a project.

As long as you are still registered in townhall, social contrubitons paid and you are in EU countries you are fine.
