Mauritius Driving License - Expiry

Post new topic

karibi

I am now the proud holder of a new Mauritius driving license, having exchanged it for my UK one. However, the license doesn't seem to have an expiry date.

When do licenses expire:

(a) After X years

(b) Driver gets to a particular age.

Just trying to understand the rules. Thanks.

I also have just done the same and it seems it is forever unless they take it away from you for serious motoring offences.

I just got this response from the Police:

"There is no validity period (expiry date)  in Mauritian driving licence, it is for a lifetime, except for provisional Motorcycle driving licence."
