I believe 1,000 Euros a month provides a comfortable lifestyle in Turkey. With 1,500 Euros, you can enjoy more frequent weekend trips. Spending 3,000 Euros monthly is excessive; even wealthy Russians don't typically spend that much. The government minimum for residency is 800 Euros for a single adult. Personally, running several companies in Antalya, my monthly expenses, including weekend trips, range from 1,500 to a maximum of 2,000 USD. I can't imagine who would spend 100,000 Turkish Lira a month for a single adult in Turkey, not even the residents of Bodrum spend that much. It really depends on the lifestyle.

Everything is relative to expectations but I would agree that $1,625 (EUR 1500) not including rent/mortgage for most couples should provide a fulfilling lifestyle.  I can guess that if food expenses are mostly derived from eating out, then it would make sense to budget $2,166 (EUR 2000) PM.   

I am not residing in °Õü°ù°ì¾±²â±ð just yet but I have visited sufficiently to draw this estimate.   By the way, last week my family of three ate at a Turkish restaurant in Minneapolis and the three entrees (only water with our meal and no dessert) cost $72 including tip.

@d4zt7bsj I am married, so it is for two, still I have to admit it on the higher side (but we are both a bit older (healthcare and medicines are making a difference)

@Gino_C USD 72 sounds a bit expensive, cheaper in Turkey (even in Alanya), still levels here are close to what you mention (but with fresh orange juice , bread (and sauces) soup a main dish and Turkish tea (but I have to say excellent service). But USD 72 sounds too high definitely.
