Duration of issuance of WP, overstay, outpass, clean exit.

Q.1 Can someone plz tell the duration for the issuance of a work visa if someone exits the country after clearing his overstay fine, 500bd, Pak nationality?

The preference is to return to come back to Bahrain on a work visa, he was on 14day visit evisa.

Q.2 In such scenario, would it be better to take an outpass/exiting without clearing fines, bacause maybe not all embassys make outpass for their citizenz?

Q.3 Then what would be the duration of ban or possibility of being blacklisted?

I was told that it would take a year even after fine clearence to get a work visa, i dont think it to be true.

Please guide me.

What should be the best move in such scenario?

Thankyou.

1)  Duration for the work visa is decided by the sponsor in the application.  But with such a long overstay, highly likely that the visa won't be approved - irrespective of duration

2) You get an out pass if you lost your passport.  So question is irrelevant

3) Very high possibility of never getting a visa to Bahrain again.  Could be indefinite.

Right.

The question might be relevant, plz correct me if i am wrong, although the passport is not lost, but however there have been scenarios in which if a person cant pay the fines so embassy make them an outpass in which he is not blacklisted but obviously i agree with your pov on the such a long overstay, which makes the possibility of getting a WP very low.

Moreover, the reason for specifying Pak nationality was because some other nationalities may not be able to get an exit through outpass without paying fines.

The view is that, you get a confirmed ticket, visit embassy, surrender voluntarily, get the outpass and exit, without officialy being blacklisted, but ofcourse the record becomes questionable.

So the person logically and sensibly should not even try for WP for atleast a year, instead may work on getting anyother middle eastern country's WP.

Plz tell me your view on above opinions and correct me if am wrong.

I think you are confusing different things.

The point is, an outpass is a document that is used if you DON'T have your passport.  Now if you HAVE your passport and STILL get an outpass; Bahrain immigration will still stop you as the travel ban is on your passport.  They don't have to respect the outpass when there is a court ordered judgement on you.

If you surrender yourself, you will be detained and deported.  You don't need an outpass.  Police will take you to the airport and keep your passport with them.  They will hand it over to the captain of the plane that you board and you will get it back at the destination.   No outpass needed.
