Seeking Sports/activities in Riga 鈥� Especially Football

I'm moving to Riga for work and to be with my wife. Therefore, I'm looking for local sports clubs or associations. I'm particularly interested in football, as I play it at a regular level back home. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could join? I'm also interested in other sports or classes to make connections and meet new people. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
