I know there's been quite a lot of posts about trailers and the law surrounding, but I'm trying clarify something which seems to be quite difficult.

I currently use a hand built trailer, but it's become apparent that I won't be able to bring it with me. I've looked on Bulgarian selling sites and to be honest most of the Bulgarian ones, don't look roadworthy and are horrendously expensive. There appear to be quite a few imported from Germany, which have manufacturers plates on, but haven't been registered in Bulgaria. Most of those are in excellent condition, some almost new, but still more expensive than I would have anticipated and it still leaves the problem of registration. Its making me wonder if its possible for me to buy a new one from a French manufacturer, bring it with me when I move over and register it in Bulgaria.

Does anyone have direct experience of this, or any particular knowledge? Cheers. Elaine.
