Moving to Australia visa options

I will be joining my Australian boyfriend in OZ January 2025.聽 will be living on his sailboat with intent of marrying and living there.聽 i am looking for suggestions as to best option to take re initial visa to get to make initial 鈥漧andfall鈥� from聽 anyone who has been in a similar circumstance.聽 Am thinking聽 , hopefully, to get at least a 6 month visa and reapply once there.

I am a retired oceanographer and now artist/photographer/writer.
