Renter's rights

32creyes08

I have been renting the same property for 7 years. The landlord change from father to son after 3.5 years & there was increase in rent buy 50 euros. Now the rent has been increased to 150 euros. Do I have any rights to object to this increase & what do I need to do? They have done nothing to the property to improve it or warrant this increase. I am a pensioner & cannot afford this increase plus all the cost of living increases. I have written to the landlord  stating my situation, only to fall on deaf ears.

Regards

Landlord can increase the rental price according to inflation. This rate cannot be exceeded. You can ask an advice from woonwijzer  or woon kantoor from municipality.
