Hi there! I am an Australian citizen who has recently moved to the Netherlands on a Working Holiday visa in the hope I would find work and be able to move on to the highly skilled migrant visa. I have been offered a job that is based in the UK but I would work remotely for them and invoice them every month as a freelancer. 1. Am I able to do this on the Dutch Working holiday visa? What steps would I need to take to ensure I am paying tax etc in the Netherlands. I have a residency permit for the next year from this visa. 2. Is there a way I can get the UK company to process a Highly Skilled Migrant visa through a 3rd party? Do you know the rough cost of this? If there is any other insights of avenues you can suggest, I would love to hear!Regards, Star - @stardavidson1

1. No.聽 The "why" is in the title of the visa you have.
2. Yes.聽 This may help you.聽 The website is in Dutch, but Google translate should handle it, if not, their contact details are phone +31(0)318-627140, email info@compasnl.com; give them a call.

One word of warning, I know these agencies exist, but my experience is now 25 years ago.聽 I got this from a Google search, so watch out for scammers.

If this fails, the Dutch Government (IND) actually has an online list of all those who have registered with them for this purpose; this will take you straight to it.聽 Assuming you have some Google nonce, every single one will be in their somewhere, but it's a massive list of names.

p.s. you haven't mentioned what you do (and don't have to), but if the role you are filling could be done by another EU citizen, then the answer will be no.
