Will Syphilis affect iqama process

Hope you all are doing well.

I have a question and hope you can help me.

I am currently based in UAE and got a job offer to work in Saudi.  When I did my medical here in UAE for Saudi visa purpose, I tested positive for Syphilis and was given treatment.  I ultimately got Medical Fitness Certificate.

My question is, when I do the medical again in Saudi for Iqama and shows I have history of Syphilis (albeit cured), will it affect my Iqama process? Any chance they will send me back to home country?

Thank you in advance.

if you are totally cured as stated in you in your fit to work certificate from UAE, then i dont see any problem at all in medical exam for iqama in saudi arabia.  hence, med exam will only will only determine your current health condition.

It should not be an issue if you have a medical fitness certificate but nothing can be guaranteed where Saudi process is concerned.

What test the do for syphilis?

VDRL or TPHA or both?

XTang

Do both to make sure

I had this issue and got treatment now VDRL is negative but tpha will be positive forever

I am applying from UAE and already hai medical fitness certificate. While going there will they do both or only check VDRL, as it is common practice
