How to get work as an expat in Cyprus

Hi everyone, I鈥檇 really appreciate some advice!

I鈥檝e been working as a product manager in tech for the past 5 years, but I was recently laid off due to the challenging job market here in the UK. My partner, who is Cypriot, and I are considering a move to Cyprus as an alternative.

I don鈥檛 have an EU passport, but we鈥檙e open to getting a civil partnership so I can live and work in Cyprus. I鈥檝e done some research on the tech scene there, and it seems quite focused on the betting and FX industries, which I don鈥檛 have direct experience in.

As a British expat, what options might I have for finding work in Cyprus? What industries or roles do other expats typically find employment in, and how challenging is the process of securing a job? Any advice on where to start or who to connect with would be greatly appreciated!
