Iqama Transfer

Post new topic

Hello,

I work for a company in Riyadh but the Iqama is provided by another firm. I want to transfer my iqama from my current Iqama provider to another because I want to switch. But the current employer is saying that we will not approve because of some issue going on between my company and my iqama provider. Even if the issue is sorted, the iqama provider is saying we will not accept the transfer request and I need to go back to my home country on final exit and restart the process.

If anyone has the knowledge in this, pls help how can I resolve it. I don't want to go on the final exit and come back, it's too much because I live with the family (they are on my dependent visa).

Thanks in Advance.

what i understand is that you are working as third party employee where iqama is from Man power supply company and you work where they have contract to provide man power.

so now in simple word as of new labor law they cannot force you to go back, if you want to change /switch job after completion of your QIWA contract period and if you have already submitted notice period or resignation as per your QIWA contract terms then you can get transfer, if notice period is not served or your contract is not completed then all depends on negotiation between you and iqama providing company only.
