Belgium has several types of Permanent Residence (PR) statuses depending on the reason for your current residence permit. Here are some of the main categories with direct links to the official guidelines:

(this specific link refers to conditions where partner is Belgian national, but there are many more cases.

There are also other less common routes, such as residency for medical reasons or establishing a second residence.
