Shanghai where to go?

Dear bloggers,

I'm from Belgium and i'm going back to Shanghai this friday. So I was wondering where to go.
Where are the new or good places to go out, eat, etc.?
Where can I find interesting places to meet people who speak english, etc.?

I'm actually going to work in Shanghai for half of a year. Afterwards i'm going back to Belgium.

People told me to get in touch with expats because they know a lot about the city already in the same vision as e.g. I want to see it + they speak a language that I understand.

I'm 20 years old, so i'm still studying. I like sports, music, going out, good food, etc. So if anyone could help me by saying where to go for good meals, nice bars for a drink or going out, meet people, etc. it would be a great help to me.

Hi. Maybe you should go to a bar called Mint or Bar Rouge. Nice places with good music and people.

I've been to a few clubs up till now.. big difference with European venues haha!

But I'll go to one of the meetings of the expats because in this way it's easier to get in touch with other people
