Coffee meetup proposal for newcomers, expats, multiculturalists!!

Post new topic

Hello everyone,

I am a British expat living in TO for almost 2 years now. After what seemed an endless search I finally got my job a few months ago. What I am finding is that the majority of my Canadian colleagues are a bit SHORT on socializing skills to say the least.  The concept of banter is totally lost and I find the humor quite plain and well, sorry to say, mostly boring.

Looking to connect with newcomers to Canada, people of multicultural backgrounds, Europeans with a sense of humor and above people with a zest for life!

Do you guys know about the Indie Coffee Passport? indiecoffeepassport.com.  Great way to explore TO and try some independent coffees. For those interested I propose we arm ourselves with a passport each and meet up al alternate coffee shops for a bit of friendship building. Check it out and let me know.
