Dear All,

I recently moved to Hong Kong and I am looking for a job, more specifically in Hospitality & Tourism.
I was working in London 3 years as a Group & Event Sales Executive, in 4 stars hotel.
I have already sent few CV to recrutment agencies and to job offers but I find it difficult to get any answer back from them.
So, I wondering if this is because I do not speak Mandarin & Cantonese.
If anyone has a recommendation & advise for my job hunting that would be much appreciated!!

Hi Cecile,

I am not sure which job agent did u go with, but there is a job agent called jobsdb in hk where i found my job from. However it also depends on your luck on the job seeking.
I know the waiting for call for interview is a killing thing. I am not sure how do they normally hire people in a hotel. If u are free while u are waiting, why don't u give it a try to walk-in and talk to the people directly. If u are lucky enough, maybe u would get a chance to talk to the key person directly.
