Next destination?

Julien

Hi,

Would you like to live in another country? Which one and why?

My stay in Spain is almost over (my girlfriend has to go back to her studies and I won't stay -alone- in Madrid) ... I'd really like to live in another country, outside Europe.

Where I would like to go?

Australia (Sidney, Brisbane), New Zealand -> won't be easy to find something from Europe but there is a lot of information on the web ... and I understand the language

Japan (Tokyo), China (Shangai)  -> I'd like to discover Asia, but it might be more difficult as I don't speak any Asia language

South America -> I am not sure it would be the best destination for an IT engineer (it seems they've got more needs in Oceania and in Asia than in South America)

What about you?

Must admit, part of me fancies doing New Zealand. Worried though that I (and more importantly, the wife) would find it a bit too 'countryside' and not enough 'city' style.
Having said that, when we are older that would be more of an attraction.
Ireland sounds intresting too.

My Polish partner and I communicate mostly in French :P so I think France is next on the agenda.

Somewhere southern I'm thinking...

Trouble

If I could live anywhere in the world?

That is a tough one.  Russia!  Egypt!  South Africa!

Sadly, I am going to none of these places. :(

Hum probably Canada.
No wait! Australia!
No! Canada!
Too cold! Australia!
...

Apparently my left and right hands don't agree about the next move. So until they do, I'm stuck in Vietnam ;)

I'm thinking of going to Scotland for higher studies(and probably get a full time job after studies), let's see how things work out!

It will be another two years before I leave Kuwait

We go back to Denmark (2010) for a year or less to get ready for the next post. By that time it would depend on what posts are available, but we're hoping to get either Vietnam or Mozambique (in that order ;)).
