Hi,

Is it popular to share a flat or a house in Cuba?

What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Cuba?

Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?

By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the classifieds

My understanding of the law is that foreigners (non employed) are only allowed to stay in Cuba for a limited period - the exceptions have personal rather than tourist visas.In general, visitors to Cuba must stay in hotels or casa particulars, it is illegal to stay in Cuban homes and there are heavy penalties for the host\hostess.
