Iqama Transfer to be stopped?

Post new topic

agent47

Hi,

Guys I highly doubt this would be happening but I have heard from the rumour mills here that the government is going to stop the transfer of Iqamas from February? They are going to stop taking transfers of expats with student status?

Is it true?

its only for non professionals. any student with an engineering, medical doctor, or any non saudized profession/degree will still be able to get transferred.

Would you know if Finance saudized yet? Is it possible to get a list of those profession that have been saudized or not?

borntobemild

accounting has for certain been saudized, but your saudi has to apply you as a financial analyst.

agent47

Yes and that is what is my job description as of now-financial analyst. Is it saudized?

borntobemild

not the analyst. you should be fine with the analyst title.

Can anyone tell me if the Marketing profession has been Saudized? I am working as an Assistant Business Development Manager. And what about positions like Marketing Manager or Media planner?

agent47

Born to be mild. Thanks for the info. I am still in the process of gathering my documents required for the attestation. Hope it goes well.

@Faizan_ahmed. I know a few people who just had their profession changed to "Marketing Specialist". This for sure is NOT saudized. I have no idea marketing manager or media planner.
