Well, as a preference I would choose Juffair as its more safe ... The only disadvantage is that in Juffair you would be surrounded with a lot of Hotels and Nightclubs so its a bit noisy ...
Other areas also can be considered but it depends on the location of your work and whether you would like to stay in a near by area or not.

I confirm Vidodido's assessment which is, like always perfectly valid.
Actually you won't find many compounds in Sitra and this island is very often a troubled area. The village of Nuwaidrat is regularly clashing with the police and almost every weekend, the bridge is closed.
So right now, I strongly suggest to avoid settling down there !
