Hi everyone,
聽 I was recommended by one of my coworkers to join the expat community.聽 I have been living in Beijing for 5 months now and am just now starting to get used to living here - speaking with cab drivers, ordering food, etc.聽 Hoping to get some advice about obtaining a Z visa and what to do during Spring Festival when all the locals I know go home.

In Beijing for work Apr 14-21 as precursor to later, longer stay.
Would like to meet up with expats in the city for 1 or more evenings out to hang out and ask questions about long term living/working. looking to make connections, and friends in short.
