Desire to communicate with members of La Luz No 3 in San Jose.

My wife and I are considering retirement in Costa Rica and would like to speak with some members of La Luz No 3 for guidance and mentoring us into the environment.

I currently have three pensions and will qualify for a fourth within 18 months.  I trade the Foreign Exchange so I will require fast internet (prefer reliable DSL).

Looking forward to making contacts with Expats currently in the San Jose area.

Thanks
Gerald

Dear Gerald,
I am too young to retire (38y.o.) and cannot advise you on that matters but we (me and my wife) currently living in San Jose (not far from downtown area) and my wife as well involved in FOREX (just started that's why on very small amounts so far). I am not, because my temper is not for that kind of trade. Internet here is 1 Mb cable (could be wireless, all you need just put wifi router, ISP can do that for you) but it could be a headache (sometimes, not very often) if you are day trader. Connection could be lost without visible reason for an hour or even longer. Also known cases of disabling account, if you are using p2p downloads, like bittorent (I think switching encryption on will prevent from such threat).
For rent (if you don't have the plans to buy something immediately) you can use . Better be here for that to check places yourself.
Hope this will be helpfull.
Regards,
Andrey
