Hi Mate,

I know how difficult it is, just a matter of days till you settle in then everything will be alright.

For accommodations I would suggest you post an advert in Qatar classifieds section for better visibility and proper responses.

In case you would like further information on other issues, you can post your questions and will try to assist with some guidance as possible.

Good Luck :)

VidoDido

Hi Mate,

The best way to fight evening's loneliness is to expedite bringing over your wife ... this will help you a lot :)

Hey Jason,

Welcome to Qatar, I went through the same when i moved from Bahrain to Doha. It will be fine in a month or so, this is normal.

You will find plenty of friends, it takes a bit of time. As we say in arabic: "ِAfter black clouds, clear weather".

jasongriffin28uk

Mrayes that is a great saying. i just need assistance in meeting people etc getting new friends. this is always hard. Plus living alone at the moment.

Mrayes

You will find some friends, it took me a while as well. I  have  alot of friends now.

Work and neighbors ans meeting new friends from your current friends are all methods to expand your network here.

Your from the UK, what team do you support?

jasongriffin28uk

Mrayes
