Hello,

I will be starting a new job in Lausanne within 3 weeks or so. My company will organize a flat for me for the first month but after that, I need to look for an appartment to rent. Cna you please give me some tips on how should I be looking for it? (internet, going directly to state agencies).?

Definitely try "www.anibis.ch" - they have lots of apartments available for rent in Lausanne and the surrounding areas.

It helps if you know someone, or know someone who knows someone, who works in an estate agency - they tend to give priority to people they know so that can make it hard when looking for somewhere to live.

I found my apartment (in Bussigny) back in January, and was fortunate enough that my mother-in-law knew the land lord. That helped me get the apartment, otherwise I would have had a lot of competition from other people looking for somewhere to live.
