what would be the processes i'm going thru in obtaining "iqama's" for my family?

I have with me already the Visa (dependent visa/yellow paper)
can you help me guys...

thank you...

Is your family here already? What is this yellow paper, the only one I had was for obtaining my visa it had the bloc number on it. Normally your company will assist you with obtaining iqama - assuming your family is on your contract because you will need medical etc done again before applying for iqama

yes mam my family is here, but they used visit visa and this visit visa will expire soon and they advise me to exit my family, i applied already dependent visa and it was with me now,so i want to know what are the requirements.

I presume:

- Your family is on visit visa.
- By family, you mean your wife; no kids.
- You applied for a family visa and you got it.
- The family visa is actually the yellow paper.

Correct me if I'm wrong in any of the above points.

Here is what you need to do:

- Fly your wife back home.
- She must visit the Saudi Embassy (just like she did for the visit visa).
- Once her residential visa gets stamped, she can come back to KSA again.
- Then ask your company to process her iqama.

Make sure she flys back before the visit visa expiry. There is a huge penalty for overstayers.

I understand that you are trying to process her visa while she stays here in KSA. No, this is not the way :)

I'm confused, you maybe best waiting for TLL to answer he is always good at this stuff.

Were you on single status and now changed to family? Is that the visa you are talking about? Because your family should have their own visas for their passports which they get in their home country, after doing medical and obviously applying. The yellow paper if it is what i am thinking of is what they need when applying for a visa.

It sounds to me like you still need to get your family's visas sorted and get them in the country. I'm pretty sure you can't apply for iqama with them out of KSA

See, i was a bit late but I knew TLL would have an answer :)

my husband got the visa for saudi and will be travelling by end of this month... i understand that he can only apply for my visa once he gets there.

i live in pakistan and have dual nationality (pakistani and british) so i keep a british passport and a NICOP. our agent here told us that getting a visa on the british passport would be an issue and i shud make a paskistani passport while my husband's employer thinks it wont be an issue... we would prefer to get the visa on the british passport since that is the one i use to travel ...so i'm confused... anyone been in a similar situation... any help/information would be appreciated

 Did he specify any reasons or (possible) logic behind? I prefer you go with the brit passport.

exp123

nope no logic... i'm guessing he doesnt have experience with such a case so he wants to keep things straight for himself!!!

i prefer to go with the brit passport too!

TheLegendLeads

Yes, the only possibile reason that came up in my mind about not going with the brit passport.
Change the agent :)

so my husband was finally able to get the yellow paper today... my question now... do i need the original yellow paper or a print of the scanned copy would be good enough to get the medical done and then apply?

p.s. i changed my agent... thanks :)
