Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any good contacts in the freight forwarding business to help me ship a 20' container from the USA West Coast to the Philippines

Any help would be appreciated.

There are many ways in shipping a 20' container from the US to the Philippines.

Would that be for export? Or Relocation?

In choosing a shipping company, it is important that you check the company's accreditation for your protection. In the USA, please check the website of US Federal Maritime Commission:

Click on the list of FMC compliant OTIs on the left-side.

On the Philippine-side, check the list of accredited International Freight Forwarder at:

It is also important that the company that you choose is familiar with both US and PH laws. There are some perks and tax exemption being given by the Philippine Government to those who are relocating to the Philippines. Some companies also have options aside from Full Container Loads or FCL.
