Dears Follow Expatriates,

I looked all the place, but was unable to find any answer to my ?. I am Indian, having permanent resident permit for Hungary. I wish to bring my mother to live with me. Now the question is how to go about it. Should she apply for family reunion visa or first come here with tourist visa and it can be done from here also. One more problem is that she lives in mumbai and traveling to delhi won't be easier for her and language would be also a big problem as she can speak only hindi. Do anyone know a good agent who can help her.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Go to immigration office. They will ask for your bank papers, insurance, etc. Then they will give you a letter in Hungarian language. Send this letter to your mom. She will take it to Hungarian Embassy (Delhi) and get 90 days tourist visa.
Once she's in Hungary, you can apply for Family reunification visa, which will extend her stay.

Good luck bhai
