Plane noise?

Post new topic

Senang

Hi,

I'm thinking of renting a house in Zejtun. I've just seen on the map that Zejtun is 5 km from the airport and now I'm getting visions of the sound of constant thunder on the background, while sitting on the terrace behind the house. Can anyone tell me if there's any background plane noise in Zejtun?

Thanks,
Wil

Forget the planes Malta is noisy wherever you are, eg honking early in the morning for deliveries of bread , gas etc. Neighbours in villages yelling across the street, ( actually its a form of talking )

The drivers seem to modify the cars to have the loudest, sharpest car horns.
Add to that no natural barriers like trees in the street to cushion the sound. so with a single car racing down your road. The sound reverberates off the walls .

Either you are able to adjust and tune it out, or it will drive you batty.
