Oooooo, I don't drink vodka. Now I'm scared that even for and indian there is a strerotype with drinking. We really don't drink soooo much in Poland ;-) And especially girls;-) It's just bad stereotype. But as a gift I can hide some bottles:)

So if everything is gonna be allright I'm gonna be in Pune in January 2013 for one year. Few bottles I will surely need, but with mineral water or ice tea with iceeee :-) I love when it is hot, but I also love to wear short skirts and tops, in Europe this is ok and in India... I'm soo scared of cultural differences. I see already on example of my fiancee what makes him sometimes not comfortable. I imagine that people are very friendly, I have many indian friends. And I'm catolic and religous and how it is with catolic church in Pune? And with people? I don't want to hide my faith...

The only terrible things about Pune is its TRAFFIC !! Aprat from that its the best place in INDIA to live...

Also dont worry on the religion part, you will have the complete freedom !!

You will not have any problems unless you are not walking on the road and wearing really short skirt
short means above knees.
otherwise Koregoan park is really cosmopolitan but if you are wearing real short dress then may be some roadside romeo's stare at you or taunt you.
but dnt worry , Normal jeans n top , or normal top n skirt is always ok here because there are too many foreigner girls living in  KP in Pune.

It all will depend on which location and where in Pune you gonna stay.  There are many catholic churches here so u can be there.

Life is quite opposite of the lifestyle I have had in Calif, US.  Starting with the heat to the traffic to rest everything.  I am told that things have changed quite a bit here in last 10-15 years.  What I have learnt here is to enjoy whatever you are in to even though its so different here.  I am enjoying everything I do except the heat here, its so hot outside.  I advise the same to you.  Enjoy the culture, festivals and parties.  Marriage parties are fun here.
