Youth Mobility Visa/Visa - questions....

Post new topic

n_KKK

Hello, I'm from Australia and would like to work in the London. I got a visa in 2004 to work in London but had to leave London after 5 wks (having not worked) and didn't get to return to London to use the visa.
Does anyone know if there is any way of proving I didn't use this visa and if so, is there ANY chance of getting another visa??
Any advice would be appeciated.
I have a good career and job record...
Thank you!

no, you cannot apply for the youth mobility visa more than once, even if you have not worked it does not matter :( it is a sad thing! sorry
- i am not sure if you could POSSIBLY  talk to them but as i am also doing the youth mobility visa i just had a talk about it and they said once was the only time you could do it!

I'm from Canada. I made a big mistake when applying for my Youth Mobility Visa. I underestimated the funds needed in my account by $200 Canadian. I received an email stating that I need to prove that more funds where in my account as of the exact date of my application. However I can't go back in time and add $200 to my account. I have more than enough money now, so I'm wondering if anyone has been through an appeal process and if anyone has any advice for this situation.

thanks...

Did your refusal letter say you were eligible for an appeal?  Usually appeals are only sucessful when the ECO has made an error or misunderstood some of your supporting documents. I dont believe you would be eligible for an appeal if the mistake was yours.  If your situation has changed from the time of your original application, you will need to apply again.
