Do most of apartments/condo's rental properties allow pets?  Husband will work in Rio so we will probably live close to that area. We would like to bring our animals with us from America.

We were surprised when we were apartment hunting that every apartment that we looked at allowed pets.    That isn't to say that all apartments allow pets, it is up to the owners, but in general buildings here seem very pet friendly.

Thank you very much. That makes me feel much better!
