Hello,

Is basketball played much in Mauritius? moving there in a few months and keen to keep playing my favourite sports. I assume plenty of soccer is played there, as its played everywhere.

What other sports are common in Mauritius?

Football! and more Football! which pleases my husband a keen NUFC supporter!

Most sports are played here, especially water sports - if there is no Basketball club in the area you will be living then start one up!

i dont watch a great deal of soccer, i would like to start watching more, but i played almost 20 years of outdoor and about 10 indoor as well. looking forward to playing in a new team when i arrive
