Teme, why are you so frustrated and negative ??? Take a deep breath and count to 10... Posting is not last resort, its one of the "resort" which I am using to generate the info i need. Neither explicit nor implicit is the condition that person using forum should do it as last resort only. By ur screwed logic, a person shouldnt use forum since much of info anyone wants wud b available in some or the other form and fashion on this world wide web (yes, thats internet for you, to be clear to let u make understand).

There was an obnoxious troll here for a couple days that you two could have bitch-slapped around with the blessing of all the forum members but we never heard a word! Neutral is excused, he wasn't here--but sushi??

I am sorry if my conversation at any point was un-becoming of a forum manner, however i had no intention of any bitch-slapping. I am simply here to get some responses to my genuine queries  and i guess exactly for these reasons such forums exist, to share the knowledge and experience.

Try Glasdoor, They have a nice Insight about the company and salary details !!

And yes Forget about the comments made by Cat and FLS, I know they are nasty at times. But take it easy, everybody is nice here unless he/she is a TROLL !!

Btw companies here offer compounds only to western expats only, however my knowledge can be limited
yes other requests can be fulfilled by the company.
For salary, you should demand 3-4 times of your current INR salary but also consider the tax factor.

You did nothing wrong.  All I can figure is that people had been a bit tense for a few days because we had a really obnoxious troll here stirring things up, attempting to get members at each other's throats.
