I'm afraid I don't have very sophisticated taste in movies - as a typical North American, all I really watch are Hollywood movies. But here are some of my favourites:

Ìý    - Favourite Historical : not sure...
Ìý    - Favourite Horror : none
Ìý    - Favourite Romance : The Princess Bride (USA 1987)
Ìý    - Favourite Sci-Fi & Fantasy : Star Wars series (USA 1977, 1980, 1983, 1999, 2002, 2005)

Ìý    - Favourite Soap & TV series : M*A*S*H (USA 1972-1983), any recent Star Trek series (USA 1987-2005), Friends (USA 1994-2004)

Very difficult choice... especially the history movies. And Romance ? How am I supposed to answer that one? I'm never the one who pick up romantic movies ... And some movies actually belong to various categories.

Star Trek Next Generation (about Series 3 onwards).
