Expats in brazil -advice on living in Salvador

Post new topic

davigrieve

Hi,

I'm 33 and my wife is 30. We are from Scotland but been living in Singapore for some years now. My wife is nearly 6 mths pregnant and I've been given an opportunity to move to Salvador,Brazil.

I would really like some honest expat advice on living in this area. Best neighborhoods to live, daily life in Salvador, food shopping and choice in this area, medical services and dependency of same, safety of myself, wife and child moving around etc etc.

Appreciate any feed back or advice if any.

Thanks
DG

Hi Davi,

How much aprox. are you thinking to pay for the rent? Or would you prefer to buy an apartment/house? Are you thinking in living in Salvador city or outside (around 20-30Kms)?

I can give you an advice depending on that.

Best regards,

Josep
