Renting a car and driving to Bahrain

My husband and I are wanting to go to Bahrain for a week long holiday and would like to rent a car and drive there. We've heard that some rental companies will allow you to drive their cars to Bahrain but the company we're currently renting our car from does not. Does anyone know the names and locations of any companies that do?

Most big companies allow their cars to be taken to Bahrain. AVIS, Budget etc. (Google please).

Once I needed such an option and I found that most cab-drivers in Al-Khobar do that.

most cab drivers in al-khobar will charge 200SAR going to bahrain, what i did, i travel by bus riyadh to dammam (60 SAR)then dammam to bahrain 100 SAR (2-way),,then rented a car in Bahrain Sixt 5BHD per day
