New in the forum and looking for charity organizations

Post new topic

Hello everyone, I am new on this forum. Very nice to join your community!

I have a question for those who know more about Saigon: I would like to donate some books, clothing and shoes to a charity organization. Do you know any trustworthy ones (where the donated goods will definitely reach the ones in need not get lost on the way)?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Cheers,
Monta

Hey Armand, are you living in Saigon? My husband is a Mauritian as well, what a surprise!

Hi Monta,

As you can see from the earlier previous threat, I am also looking for NGOs that I can work with.

Are you currently in HCM city and are you thinking of working in this industry too? :)

Hi noah83 and 123go,
My friend and I are opening a group which will do volunteer work helping the poor and weak! We will directly go to the places where they live and help them so you can be sure that the things you donate will be right to them. Dont know whether you guys wanna join us.
Cheers :)

Hi Noah, Nguyen and Cindyluu,

I was just looking for a place to leave my donations (I am not working in the NGO sector), but why not joining a group of friends and distributing it by myself? The stuff I have is for women, not elderly people nor children. Is it still valuable for your group?

Cheers

Thanks a lot for your tip, Lucy! I will go there before leaving Vietnam to donate everything left behind.
