They would be on this the Mexican forum, but you might want to post a new subject line, not add to a old unrelated subject.
How do I report an offensive private message? Seems there are trollsÌý here too.
Hi 2doggirl.
right next to your post you will see a pale grey button that says Report. You can report there or, using the same type of button next to the post you find offensive.Ìý If it is a PM , perhaps cut and past that message on to your complaint.
We are aware that someone has attacked the system, but specific posts will help address where that attack in coming from.
Sorry for the problem, it seems to be a world wide problem now.
Thanks
Much to do about reporting posters for this or that.Ìý Some of us aren't the reporting type, social education from our school days I'd say.Ìý And then too some of us are not the "Just turn the other cheek" type, also a leftover from childhood education.Ìý These feature of oneself are hard to kick, they are as natural as chewing your food.Ìý
This is not an over-moderated forum.Ìý I respect that and believe anyone who doesn't has never seen how bad a web forum can get; how moderators don't seem to realize moderator is from, to moderate .. to make things better, not worse.Ìý And to form a clique with your long-time forum chums will be the death of a forum.
Very rare to find grammatical errors in postings here.Ìý ÌýThat's wonderful except for grammar nazis who thrive on making them public.Ìý But there is a fact of life that infers it's difficult to "win" a rebuttal with sentences riddled with 5th grade grammar flubs.Ìý
Some of us have developed ways of expressing ourselves that others find well, odd to irritating.Ìý To have developed a good sense of irony is to me a positive human feature.Ìý Those of us who suffer from jumping ears or batting eyes at the sound or sight of one's expressions because they never heard that at home or from people of their township are missing out.Ìý And to call out a person as if his style is somehow inferior surly makes you look provincial.Ìý Ìý
Love it here, Thanks for being an admin based in an awareness/intelligence that is rare on Internet forums these days.

Do you have an example ? because I haven't seen them. You are aware, I am sure that there are widely divergent opinions and of course rights of privacy. Thats been a concern and a issue from day one.

I really don't understand why some of you who make a point about not being forum police hold it in until it has to burst and then you post a public post about it.
As it already clearly states in the forum code of conduct (thus requiring no changes in the rules as you suggested) if you believe any post is inappropriate for any reason, you can report it without having to make a public scene about it.
No one will know that you did it except the admin who reads your report.
I'm using an Android phone, and if I want to report a post I go to the lower right hand corner of the post in question where it says the word "reply", and I click on the three dots ••• and I give a very quick reason why I am reporting the post, such as vaccine misinformation, or personal attack on a forum member.
(By the way, the casual reader should know that's the same place you go to find the quote function)
It's slick it's easy and it's done and no one needs to know and then it's up to admin whether they do anything about it.
So you really aren't the police.
You're a forum member making a report to the police.
You only become the police when you start making public posts about a problem.
As I'm known to do from time to time...
So Ballykissangel,
You have not provided an example as asked. As a result, I looked at your introduction page to get to know you, and unlike the majority of members, your page says nothing at all about you just your chosen name, that you are in Mexico, and a tiny American flag.
I can't help but wonder what your agenda is. The forum as Ocean points out doesn't need a policeman or a "fact-checker" for that matter.
Four posts in and you are not asking about or talking about Mexico, but censoring posts that you don't like, but can't give examples of.Ìý Perhaps an ex-pat forum is not what you are looking for.
