Hello again -- my doctor is recommending a LOT of immunizations before I move to Addis Ababa, but I can't find anything online about mandatory immunizations for entry.聽 Any opinions on what shots are really necessary??聽 (There was a long list of shot recommendations for Jordan, too, but once I got there I found that none were truly necessary, in my opinion.)聽 Thanks!!

Hi Laurie,

Before i came here (last year), i got yellow fever vaccination in indonesia. Addis Ababa immigration airport sometimes ask us to show your yellow fever card.

Hi Ade -- Yes, I did get the Yellow Fever shot, along with 14 others!!聽 I can't believe they were all necessary for Addis Ababa, but that's what my doctors said to do.聽 Ouch.
