I am waiting for my visa throughs tate sponsorship....Just cam to know that need to show some funds AUD 30000+ as proof for living....anyone has idea if its only to show in papers or they really check...

seriously this is not fair i am coming with my wiofe and we have enough to spent three months but not this much to show

I think they really check.
We once started by asking them if 29000 will be fine for the first three months, they said NO and we gave our project up!
I love Australia, but it's difficult to go there from my personal point of view!!

I only declared it by a form and add the value of my house as a part of my budget to travel, but it was sold just 30 days before to flight.
In my case, no bank statement checking or further analysis from DIAC about this (It was two years ago).

What you are asking us is beyond this support.
Please contact a migration agent to get all that information.

You will have to have the money put into an Australian bank account or prove that you have access to the funds whilst you are in Australia.

It's just a paper stated value that you need to declare.
DIAC will not check.

I have done it and gotten my State-Sponsorship. No questions asked.
