Hello Everyone!

Post new topic

JennyString

Hello!

I'm new to this forum. And also to India. We moved to Bangalore about two weeks ago. I'm volunteering in a school for six months. Hoping to make friends with people who want to go exploring.

Welcome to Bangalore, Jenny :) I a sure you will find a lot of friends here.. I noticed that you are from UK. Which part of UK do you come from?

I'm from Bristol in the U.K. but we were living in London just before moving here.

Hi Jenny,

I see you are very well traveled. You'll settle in easily here in Bangalore :) and as mentioned before you'll definitely find lots of friends.

I'm relatively new to the forum as well and I'm wondering if it is possible to organize a gathering where all members new and old can come together in the city ?

Enjoy your stay here.

Cool - a meetup sounds like a good idea.

Hi All ,

Can we all decide on the meetup.May be we will meetup in Hard Rock Cafe...MG road.....this saturday.....

prassanna

Hi All,

Meetup sounds super and I'm glad people are up for it :)

Since this week many of us are out of town due to the holidays I suggest we meetup next week. Would you guys prefer to meet during the week or weekend ? Some place central to all of us like MG Road sounds good. Lets just make sure it's a place where we can actually hear each other speak since the music tends to be pretty loud otherwise :D

Looking forward to meeting you guys.

I think weekend works for most people, especially Friday or Saturday. UB City, MG Road and possibly Koramangala are central places and very much happening.

Hey Leonin,
I think Saturdays are best time to meet. U.B City, M.G Road or Koramangala are the most happening places. I am always up to catchup with expats. I won't be in Bangalore this weekend (will be traveling to Pune on business). I think next Saturday (15th Dec) should be fine. We can either meet up for coffee or a drink.

- Cheers,
  Karthik
