Smartphone use in KSA

Hi everyone!

I am planning to buy an smartphone (i. E. Nexus 4) in my country, Spain.

Will this phone work in Saudi Arabia, just changing the sim card?

To get a sim card, with data and cell phone number from KSA, I need my iqama, or anything else?

Yes it will work as Nexus 4 phones are unlocked. You can have a visitors sim initially and then transfer to your iqama, once you have it.

I think it's better to buy from here, cheaper prices since no tax

Depends which phone you want to buy. New phones like iPhone 5 or nexus 4 are not launched in KSA, hence costly to buy in Saudia.
