Are there unfurnished houses, condos and apartments for rent ??

I have checked about 20 classified and real estate websites and seen over 500 rentals. I have not seen one yet that is unfurnished. If your living long term anywhere and renting, you save money in the long run if you rent unfurnished. You pay a lower rental rate and probably in a year pay off the bought furniture. I get the impression that property owners are not too flexible in Cambodia. SO if you ask to rent unfurnished, they might not be receptive. Anyone has been able to see or rent unfurnished in Phnom Penh? Thanks
