I am planning to go to SAPA next week, but really need buddies! Maybe from Tue-Fri. Anybody who would join or also about to go there, don t hesitate to mail me!

Buy your rail ticket from the station NOT "travel agents" - travel agents, so called, in Ha Noi mark the ticket pries way up!

The trains leave from Platform 10 or 11 - on the far side of the station. You can cross the rail lines on a board-walk to the right of the glass entrance doors.

Also only buy a one-way - always plenty of seats for the return. (Most likely they won't sell you return anyway). You can buy return tickets quite safely in Cha Pa (Sa Pa).

Also arrange with your Ha No hotel to leave your bags (lock securely) if you don't need everything.

And only use Mai Linh, De Luxe or Ha Noi taxies there are 110 taxi companies in Ha Noi and most are crooks.
